It will be one of the main protagonists of the twenty-fifth edition of Xylexpo, which will be held at Fiera Milano-Rho on May 24-28, 2016. At Xylepxo, Scm will introduce, within its large exhibition space, the news of the group and its brands: integrated solutions and modular cell systems that represent intelligent innovation, the best interpretation of the concept of "Smart Manufacturing". In particular, integrated production processes will be proposed, both for panel and solid wood processing, all "intelligently flexible", ie able to combine different levels of profitability / productivity, maximum customization and considerable ease of reconfiguration. The technologies presented by Scm Group are designed to enhance both creativity of small carpentry and large industry, supporting them in the transition towards "mass customization". The aim is to provide the industry with solutions for production with a shorter time-to-market, capable of increasing competitiveness on the markets and at the same time allowing greater specialization.
Integrated system of smart cells
Scm Group will exhibit at the fair the only scalable cell systems, a range of solutions able to meet the production demand in search of ever greater flexibility and easy integration. Several technological innovations of the group will be in operation within integrated and modular production processes. It is a choice that emphasizes the extensive and total expertise on all application areas of the sector by the Scm Group specialists. Two integrated cells that will be exhibited for panel processing. 1. Cell system for high production capacities (up to 800 pieces per shift) which consists of: "batch one" sectioning cell Gabbiani, Mahros, Morbidelli to obtain any type of cutting in "real time", thanks to the intelligent management of the Flexstore EL three-axis automatic warehouse, based on increasingly advanced software and on increasingly advanced automation. Flexible edging team cell to obtain an extremely diversified production within the reach of any company. Morbidelli Powerflex S line drilling, a true reference point for the furniture industry to which it ensures new standards: up to 30 panels per minute. To complete the process, the high-performance machining center for the Morbidelli Planet P800 boring-milling cutter, designed to simplify the processing of shaped panels up to 6360x1905 mm. 2. Cell system for medium production capacities (up to 500 pieces per shift), which consists of: Scm Pratix S machining center enriched with new specific functions for nesting processes, such as the new labeling function managed by the Xilog Maestro software, thanks to which it is even easier to govern the entire process, and greater integration in the automatic processes that make it a real cell or integrated solution. The Stefani Solution XD industrial edgebander is ideal for making high-design furniture. the Morbidelli Cyflex hp boring machining center, one of the most eagerly awaited innovations in terms of increased productivity. Solution, which takes up less than 10 m2 of space, and has shorter cycle times than any alternative in this market segment.
