Samet at Fuorisalone 2015

Fifth manufacturer in the world of components for the furniture industry, Samet at Fuorisalone 2015 opts for in via Brera to present the You (r) Inside design contest: the students of the Academy, coordinated by Arch. Roberto Semprini, revisits the new light and ergonomic Smart Flow drawer in an artistic and personal way (in the second image). The ten most interesting concepts of all the selected projects will be exhibited in the area of the Ponte Rosso gallery, while the three finalist prototypes will be exhibited to be seen, experienced and touched by hand. After the design awards attributed to Ela - the customizable elastomer hinge cover (IMM Cologne 2013 If Design 2014) - and the Duolift (in the first photo) and Monolift (If Design 2015) flap door mechanisms, Samet confirms the will to be a trend setter, offering to the market all over the world products that, in addition to functionality, include a love for art and beauty.

On the occasion of the opening of the Fuorisalone, on Tuesday 14 April at 5.00 pm, SAMET invites you to the award-giving aperitif event in the presence of the press, students of the Academy, sector professionals and all the staff. The young creative winner of the Contest will be awarded with an economic prize of 1000 euros. But the celebrations do not end there ... Always careful to combine technology with aesthetic research, SAMET testifies how functional components can become design objects and places of possibility to explore: Friday 17 and Saturday 18 April, from 18:00 to 21: 00, the Ponte Rosso gallery will be animated by a sparkling time with DJ sets.
